Leadership Development Institute staff and faculty believe that leadership is experiential—that is, it is better to experience and engage in leadership activities than to only hear about them. We ask that all Ambassadors complete a Leadership Development Action Plan Poster.
The purpose of this activity is to provide each Ambassador a formal opportunity to identify a topic, issue, or problem that he believes is important enough to choose to lead an effort to address as an emerging leader. Ambassadors are provided specific instructions for the development of the poster. Ambassadors present their projects during the intensive portion of the Institute.
Alpha Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the Leadership Development Institute are committed to helping bring presented plans to fruition. In the past we have provided Ambassadors with material, financial, moral, networking, and other types of support to see their projects become reality.
